Myo Armband
The Myo is an armband with EMG and IMU sensors, developed by Thalmic Labs (now North).
I interface it with other sensor systems, such as Kinect and Lego Mindstorms.
The signal quality is sufficient for interactive applications.
Tools: Myo Connect, Processing
KinectV2
The Kinect is a motion sensing input device developed by Microsoft.
It serves as a nice subsitute for the Mocap system in terms of portability and price.
I interface it with other sensor systems, such as Myo and Mac3D.
Tools: KinectV2, Processing, VisualC#
Leap Motion
The Leap Motion is a hand and finger motion sensor, developed by Leap Motion, Inc.
In a work with NTT R&D, I developed a haptic feedback system similar to the Sony DualSense controller.
Tools: Leap Motion, VisualC#
Motion Capture
Motion Capture (Mocap) is the process of recording movement.
I was in charge of a nice motion capture studio, and I have 4+ years' experience in motion capture: collecting, post-processing, development, analysis.
Tools: Mac3D, nMotion, Matlab
Computer Vision
I use machine learning techniques for computer vision.
I designed an internship for high school students, and occasionally make personal projects.
Tools: PoseNet, TensorFlow, JavaScript
Pressure Glove
The Pressure Glove was developed mainly using the ShokacChip, a multi-axis tactile sensor.
I was in charge of developing a finger-pressure logging system that communicates with other devices, such as Mac3D.
Tools: ShokacChip, Processing, CAD, Opcode
Mobile App Dev
I lead a team to develop LowCal, the Philippines' first hospital-backed preventive health care application.
The app primarily functions as a diet-tracking app using a localized food database.
